Absecon Bay is located in Oceanville, Atlantic County, NJ. Absecon Bay, SouthEast N.J, between Absecon and Atlantic City. 2.5 miles long. Absecon Inlet, North of Atlantic City, is principal entrance. Absecon Beach, a 10 mile sandbar bridged at several points to mainland, is Southeast of Absecon across Absecon Bay; on it are Atlantic City and other resorts. Lighthouse at Norhtern tip; landmark (1854–1932); no longer used. It is a natl. historic landmark. There is great fishing here. Numerous guides to choose from or you can find a rental boat easy. The beaches are beautiful and this is a great place to visit.
