Ike Tournament on DE River

Mike Iaconelli is doing a charity bass tournament on the DE River in the beginning of August. For my brother's birthday present, I got us in the tournament fishing with one of the pros. I find out who on the 31st.

I have yet to fish the DE so any recommendations for tackle would be much appreciated.

Ended up being a tough day. 3 keepers between the three of us, but my little brother and I each caught one, keeping up with a guy who has won almost $2 million on the elite level. Not a bad day! Got to hang with Ike, KVD, Ish Monroe, etc. etc. Definitely one of the coolest experiences of my life. Mike McClelland is a great guy. They all were.

Its good that you caught bass, had fun, met some of the expert anglers and most of all you will have the great memories.
