|
|
| I recently recieved a dozen or so packages of lead bullet weights. They are all of various weights and lead colored. I almost always match my weights with the color lure im fishing, so I pay more for painted lead and beads. If I were to spray these plain ones or brush them with nail polish would there be any residual odors on them that fish could smell.....I have read and heard of a some people doing this but im not sure...anybody??? |

| I will answer my own question now...The fish must not smell anything on the weights, I caught way over a dozen bass on sunday alone and a few on saturday. I also rubbed mega strike on them and then tried some without and they both worked. Now im making a bunch in different colors, with and with out glitter and clear coating them....they look amazing...I guess im saving money in the long run. 3 small cans of spray paint(you only need red black and green) a can of clear coat and some glitter for under 20 bucks. |
