Review: This lake is over fished and its best fishing time is in the morning. It's probably better in a boat. The catfish and carp are huge in this lake.

Review: Went there for the 1st time sunday. I've driven by here 100's of times ( deliveries for 29 years ) Anyway, lots of shoreline space to fish from. Saw alot of small bass swimming around. Got a few hits, but no hook up's. It was algae/weed free on this side. We went to the otherside - there were 5 nice spots to fish from. Not one bite over here. You can use canoes and kayaks - no powerized boats. Don't know about the musky - pike - walleye - sm.m bass population in here, like it says in the description of what's in this lake, i hope they are - we will be back here at least once a month to see! The water was clear, you could see out at least 25 feet, then it got darker. We are going to come here in the evening next time with a jitterbug and see where the hotspots are.
Talked to an old dude fishing here and he said his friend caught a 6 pound L.M Bass 3 weeks ago with a senko worm....wonder where that hawg is hiding!
