You also can catch these using top water frogs during the summer. When they spawn, you can spot them with their babies. Chucking a lure past the babies then dragging the lure into the pod of fish will produce.

Newton is a great place to throw frogs and senko via a kayak or small boat. The summer gets weeded out, so electric motors may have some issue. This is when there will be less pressure fishing from boaters and you can pull out some good size bass
