I live in andover and fish here a lot I have never been charged any money for any thing
and the smallmouth are big 4.5 is the biggest i have caught
Highland Lake Description
Highgland Lake is an excellent Trout and Smallmouth Bass lake located off of Rt. 11 in Andover. The lake is annually stocked by NH Fish and Game Department with Rainbow and Brook Trout. Trout anglers often hook Smallmouth Bass here and when they do they are treated to a fine display of the bass' fighting abilities. The bottom of the lake is composed of sand, muck and clay. The shoreline is a combination of wood and meadow. There is a good paved boat ramp just off of Rt. 11. A fee has been charged in the past. Ice-out is usually around the last week of April.
