I tried nano fil as soon as it came out in 10 lb test on one of my smaller bait casting bass rods (7' mh) it cast great and had great feel but it has bad not strength and u need a leader. The other advise for nano fil prospective users is to use it on spinning gear not bait casting gear. It works a thousand times better, truly is a great tool that should be added to any serious bass fisherman's arsenal. Hope this helps.

Yea I had one fish break off popped the line not the knot , I dont think so atleast .. I just set myt drag a lil looser n prayed for a decent hookset . It worked out , still haven't caught any Slobs with it yet so that will be the true test I guess . I have 8lb on my Pflueger spinning reel , but think I might try the 10 for my other spinning spool . One of them atleast .. ( have 4 extra spools for my 2 primary reels )
