Honestly, you make it look easy.
If I could do that on my local lakes, I wouldn't have to pay for a boat.
Keep posting.

Ha Ha, well said JustSalt, i finally got out on Tuesday, unfortunately the wind was too much for the canoe and i got tired of spinning in circles looking like an idiot out there, Managed no fish, and tired arms, but either way was nice to get out on the water. Water temps are still pretty low in my neck of the woods, water temp was 46 on Tuesday, and there was even a very thin skim of ice on the lake when i first got there, so i am blaming that and not my lack of knowledge........LOL. But at least it has begun. Funny thing though, i do keep a fairly detailed log of my fishing and the last 3 seasons every first bass of the season i caught was in 58 degree water.
Just out of curiosity though, do you happen to know what the water temp was where you were fishing rawr ????
