The Shad are Running in the Delawere River.

This first run of the season has good numbers of fish being landed. If anyone is interested in getting up to date Shad run locations, landings and water conditions, etc. You can call the Shad Hotline to listen to a recent recorded message.

Do we have any Shad Anglers in the club?

I manage to get out there a few times every season, shad are a funny fish to catch, some days you cant keep them off the hook, other days they disappear. But they are definitely moving up the river, i think water temp is still a bit cold for them to be active on the bite, but you never know. Here is another link to catch reports.

I totally forgot about Woo's site. I even purchased some of his shad spoons, but never got a chance to try them out. Maybe this year.
