Comment: These guys are little and don't put up much of a fight, but I don't mind hooking them while bass fishing. They look similar to white bass but have no visible stripes.

Comment: I fish in lake winnipasaukee in nh and I have seen multiple fish over the three pound range. That were never officially weighed in. I myself have caught many in the 2.5-3lb range.

Comment: This may be revolting to some, but how does the meat taste compared to LMB or SMB? I caught one on Pachaug Pond last night. And yeah, fight like crazy. I was amazed it was so small.

Comment: Me and a buddy caught MANY of these from a boat...They run in schools of hundreds, and we we're pullin them in continuously. Every school we hit would give us at least 10 fish a peice. Put up a good fight too.
