A good lake for grandson's first fishing experience.

Want to take my grandson fishing from shore for his first time where the fishing is good so he won't get bored. Wan't to hook him on the sport. Get him away from the TV. Looking for a pond in NJ.

Molders private pond in Englishtown (I believe) just hosted a d.a.r.e fishing derby for kids. It was my first time there and all the kids caught sunnys and blue gills like crazy. I watched as others caught huge eels and cat fish. The lake is stocked( trout, bass, channel cats and hybrid bass) you have to pay to fish but its clear of trees on most sides so casting isnt a problem. I think the place is perfect for kids.
