How about adding a crabbing report section under the saltwater section? Question

Love the idea. I have been trying to go crabbing for some time now, but I never have any idea where to go or the best bait to use. Would be a great add to the site.

We'll have to wait and see if they add the crabbing section to the site Smile

As far as crab baitss goes. You can use just about anything.

I've used the below baits and have great results.....
Chicken necks and backs
Turkey necks
Bull lips
Bunker
Any fish

You want a tough bait that will last long and not break down/ fall apart fast.

I use drop lines & dip nets as well as a crab trap.

Let me know what area you are from and if I know of any areas, I let you know.

Good Luck! Very Happy

Thanks for the advise. I live in Mount Laurel, right near Cherry Hill, so not too close to the shore. But I will make the trip to just about any salt water spot if its good enough. I have been crabbing a couple times before, but always end up with only a couple keepers; not enough to make a meal out of, especially when your with three other people. I'm looking for a hot spot.

I crab in the Raritan & Sandy Hook Bays, so I don't know of any good spots in your area.
