Where did you fish? try a small lake where there's a steep bank .I get numbers of Panfish that way.Jiggin' poles i use 4#test and mealworms waxies or spikes on small ice jigs.I deadstick for Bluegills. For Perch, Bass and Crappie I move the bait more .Save your dead shiners , take them home and salt them .Next trip out use the tail and head ends on a spoon or Rattlin Flyer jig w 6# test and if Yellow and White Perch and Crappie are around they'll take them. Good luck ice fishing in just a few months.
